Hi....

Glad to see you all again. I have been busy teaching class for the last few days. It was a first making Card class Sponsored by My Scrapbook Ideas aka MSI ( It is the largest Scrapbook Store in Indonesia and its branches are scattered around big malls in Indonesia) and Martha Stewart Living Magazine Indonesia.
I forgot to take any pictures because i was too busy focusing on teaching. Fortunately, Ms.Karin from MSI took a few pictures during my class, and MSI promised to share/ upload photos to me later.

After teaching card, the next day, i and my husband went to holiday in Singapore. It took 1.5 hours flying from Jakarta-Indonesia to Singapore. Even though it was only 1.5 hours away, Singapore is not a part of Indonesia. It is Indonesia's neighbor.

In Singapore, we spent time watching box office movies (which were not played in Indonesia), buying stamps, Markers and purchasing tools for crafting.

Markers, i bought in Singapore

Stamps are not sold in Indonesia, therefore, i need to go abroad to purchase them or buy/ order them on line. papers and embellishments are already sold completely in Scrapbook store/ Local Store in Indonesia.

Card making is not quite familiar in Indonesia. Many people think that handmade card is the same as any other card sold in bookstores. the card sold in bookstores is not interesting n boring.
The tradition of sending cards in Indonesia is almost extinct since the existence of internet in Indonesia :)

I like introduce making card to friends in Indonesia. It is not only fun making scrapbook, but it is also fun making card. Making card can be interesting hobby. There are many techniques making cards which can be learned. we may develop our making card skills, not only making simple/ ordinary card, but also making high skill designed card.

Fortunately, we are also supported by International Challenges held every week which makes card community becoming more solid.
